Sue Anderson, MBE

Sue Anderson is an Education Consultant who has been working with overseas families, international students and boarding schools in the UK for the past 25 years, Sue lived in the Middle East and Canada as an ex-pat wife with children at boarding school. She worked in boarding schools in the UK before setting up Anderson Education with the aim of helping families select the best school for their child. In 2013 Sue was awarded the MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) for her services to education as part of The Queen's Birthday Honours list, the award was presented by the Prince of Wales at the Buckingham Palace investiture ceremony.
Sara Sparling is a UK Education Consultant who travels frequently to the Gulf countries to meet local and expat families considering a UK boarding school, summer or language programme. Her experience as a teacher, ex-pat wife, mother of three children and as a boarder herself, enables her to understand the needs and concerns of parents. Whilst in the UK Sara makes regular school visits to identify what is unique and special about each boarding school and ensure that Anderson Education has up to date knowledge and information.
Nikki Harlow is an Education Consultant, who recently joined the Anderson Education team, she has a wide range of experience in education with extensive knowledge of working with children with Special Educational Needs. Nikki’s career has included working in schools and also as an events and exhibition manager. She has lived in the USA and the Middle East and her son attends a UK boarding school.
Sarah Harvey is the GCC Marketing Representative for Anderson Education who has lived and worked in Dubai for over 20 years. She joined the Anderson team in 2014 and her career to date has included working in marketing and event management in the sports and leisure industry both in the UK and UAE. Sarah has a son who will attend sixth form in 2017 at a UK boarding school.
Melanie leads Anderson Education’s business development initiatives across the GCC including developing and executing a strategic marketing and communications campaign for Anderson Education’s events and directories in the region. Melanie’s career in professional development and learning spans two decades and four continents. She has successfully implemented lines of business and strategic initiatives in places like Hong Kong, India, UK and the United Arab Emirates. She has also been responsible for the design and execution of events across Australasia, Middle East & Africa and South America. Melanie holds a degree from the University of West England and has lived in the UK, Hong Kong, and currently resides in the U.A.E.
